Alternative Methods to Help Treating Ovarian Cancer

Alternative Methods to Help Treating Ovarian Cancer – Known as “silent killer” the ovarian cancer usually shows little to zero marks and symptoms present at an early stage, and it is not usually up to the next stage that the cancer will be diagnosed. This makes cancer ovarian cancer extremely bad for dealing with the best of times, and where surgery has been a favorite of treatment methods for years. However, there are currently various alternative treatment methods available to treating ovarian cancer.

  1. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

HBOT is an excellent example of alternative medicine for ovarian cancer. Working with which cancer patient is a place in the Hyperbaric Oxygen chamber and exposed to 100% pure oxygen. In turn the oxygen inhaled by the patient at the pressure level increases about 2.5 time’s more than normal atmospheric pressure.

It is believed that a pure increase of oxygen is inhaled, coupled with pressure made at time, allowing for red blood cells in the body to become hyper oxygen by dissolving pure fresh oxygen into the plasma (55% water blood, protein and other solutes) and thus has a curative effect on cancer patients, along with many other diseases as well.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can also help improve the effectiveness of certain types of antibiotics by helping them to perform better, along with stimulating the growth of new blood vessels that allow for an increase in blood circulation which may not be considered poor. Research has proven that treatment methods can also treating ovarian cancer.

  1. Chemotherapy

This is another example of alternative medicine, although on many occasions it is actually used as a joint compliment of traditional surgery. Chemotherapy can kill any or remaining cancer cells that can be left behind after surgery, and although considered as an alternative treatment in this case, it does go without some rather disgusting side effects.

It has been around for years (often the first choice of consideration), it could be considered a crueler alternative to voting, since most alternatives should be less intrusive (or at least that is understood by many of those ways). However, frequent chemotherapy is actually considered a lesser crime that may be necessary to help treat cancer patients.

  1. Quercetin (bioflavonoids)

This is the last example of three for alternative treatment to treating ovarian cancer. Quercetin (molecules that inhibit the oxidation of other molecules), is anti-arthrogenic, and anti-carcinogenic (substances that inhibit cancer development) property proven agents with a strong ability to fight cancer. It is a type of chemical glycoside (a complex of chemical compounds found in fruits and vegetables, but especially red apples and onions).

As a supplement, this quercetin is not only beneficial to help treating ovarian cancer, but also in preventing allergies, and reduce discomfort as well. It also contains anti-depressant qualities. By eating a lot of red and onion apples, cancer patients can-up quercetin intake far enough, resulting in many beneficial effects that might otherwise have been neglected.
